very cool. i love your way of making something look very painterly and detailed at the same time. the use of light and shadow is well done. the only thing i would change is the positioning of her arm. to me it seems awkward that this whole picture embodies flowing movement, with its curves and dynamic pose, but her arm is completely straight and rigid. other than that, though, i really like it. good job.

great job on this piece. you said you wanted C&C, right? no takebacks now.

first the (plentiful) good things i find in this. excellent piece overall, the colors blend very nicely together, without one clashing with another in most cases. you even managed to bring blues into what other might consider a bit of a monotone piece, not the easiest thing in most cases. and i gotta say, there's some nice "fan service" in there. really helps sell the piece a lot quicker and easier. and finally, while this piece is FAR from a traditional knight in virtually every way, there's just something about it that makes the viewer think, "knight". personally, I have absolutely no clue what that is, but it's great all the same.

And now, the (thankfully sparse) "cons" of the piece (imo). for starters, there's so much you could have done with the background other than this aqua-green (or whatever the technical term is; i don't care much for those names, really). For example, since it is hard to tell whether or not her feet are bearing the load of her (shapely) body, a nice touch might be to make a skyscape in the background, even if it's a light blue gradient toward one corner of the piece, where an offscreen sun may lay, and perhaps a nearby bird or faraway city/mountainscape. the possibilities are massive; it's a bit of a shame that less was done, although i can probably assume time constraints were one reason for your choice. the only other thing that comes to mind is proportion. while some points (such as the transition from lady leg to badass-armor-leg-o'-death-thingy) are well done and very interesting, there are others that leave something to be desired. for example, while this may not be a valid "transition", per se, the hilt of the sword on her hip is like a veritable trunk. even with a two-hand grip on it, it would be improbable that she could wield it, let alone with any true finesse. and while i may be getting waaaay too in-character, i just wanted to mention that sort of thing to you.
