I know this comment was a bit ago, but ever heard of the leaning Tower of Pisa? Sometimes the foundation of a building, especially on a sharp drop off like that, is not always level or remaining straight. Not to say this still wasn't the artists mistake, but I think it adds a slight touch of realism to have the gravity dragging it down to it's center.
I've heard of it, worry not. Still, I think that leaning building shouldn't then be placed in top right half of the frame, because it messes up the composition. Besides, tower, yes, but have you heard of a leaning castle? I'm no architect but wouldn't that have a detrimental effect on building's stability?
Other than that - it's a great piece
